While all of my brushes were still putting out faint hints of pink (Chickadee on Berry Branch) I decided to keep my red palette out and try a poppy, which I have always wanted to paint. Maybe a poinsettia next?

I love having a book to listen to as I paint... Since the anniversary of Pearl Harbor just passed, I decided to listen to, Inferno- The World at War 1939-1945 by Max Hastings.
